Yamaha RX KING in activity


This Yamaha RX King could be rather old, but we can't see it's old any more after some modification and airbrushing on it. The body itself is still origin, the owner of the motorcycle, M Yunus - Bekasi, only give it full body airbrush so that it became center of people attention. The airbrushing done in Anugrah Motor workshop in Kalimalang.

In 2008, Yamaha's street lineup is a tweaked YZF-R6S. The '08 version of the 600cc mount features a modified steering geometry, with rake decrease by a half-degree to 24 degrees even. The change in steering head angle has resulted in a shorter trail figure, with '08 measuring 0.3-inch less at 3.4 inches. The overall length and height of the new R6S have changes as well, with height 0.6-inch shorter (42.9 inches) and length 0.8-inch more petite (79.7 inches). The wheelbase is also exhibits a slight 0.2-inch decrease to 54.3 inches. The other noticeable change on the 2008 R6S is an increase to the front brake rotors from 298mm to 310mm. The $8,299 MSRP remains unchanged.

Perbandingan 3 Motor Matic: Yamaha Mio, Honda Vario, dan Suzuki Spin

Yamaha Mio, Honda Vario, dan Suzuki Spin, sekilas memang memiliki teknologi yang sama. Tapi, apakah kita akan mengambil salah satunya tanpa pertimbangan. Ada baiknya kita cermati ulasan perbandingan antara ketiganya berikut ini :

1. Yamaha Mio

Yamaha Mio Bisa dibilang Mio merupakan bintangnya motor matik di Indonesia. Bagaimana tidak sejak peluncurannya hingga saat ini, penjualan Mio mampu mendongkrak share penjualan Yamaha. Kehadirannya bahkan membuat sang kakak alias Nouvo menjadi kalah populer. Lucunya, meski diperuntukkan untuk kaum hawa, Mio terbukti laris manis dibeli para pejantan tangguh. Kalau mau jujur, Mio berhasil mengedukasi pasar dan membenamkan image bahwa motor matik oke-oke saja digunakan untuk aktivitas sehari-hari.
Kalaupun ada yang kurang dari sosok Mio adalah faktor tangki bahan bakar yang imut, sehingga membuatnya harus sering mampir ke pompa bensin. Kapasitas tangki Mio menurut buku manual ''cuma'' 3,7 liter — sama dengan bebek Honda. Masalahnya, motor matik cenderung boros karena membutuhkan putaran mesin yang cukup tinggi agar motor bisa bergerak — lebih tinggi dari motor bebek dan motor sport. Selain itu, penyakit bawaan Mio adalah bunyi tikus di sektor roda belakang.

Yamaha's success saling automatic bike in Indonesia influenced other manufacturer to sale the same bike type. After Yamaha Nouvo, Yamaha launch Yamaha Mio which has won Indonesian market and forced Honda and Suzuki to take a role in this class. Honda launched Honda Vario and Suzuki lauched Suzuki Spin and Skywave to compete Yamaha Mio. Then, Yamaha launch Mio Soul and we hear some rumors in recent days that Yamaha will bring their retro bike to Indonesia, Yamaha Vino. People call it Yamaha Mio Vino, yups .. it could be a retro style of Yamaha Mio, not like it's original Vino which has only 50CC capacity, but 125CC.
