Volvo XC60

The XC60 project is targeted to customers with high demands on design, brand integrity and high-tech content. According to Volvo the XC60 exterior was conceived as a mix of two car styles. The lower part is characterized by muscular and bold volumes, with large wheels and high ground clearace. Up above, the flowing lines and sleek profile create the sporty look and visual impression of a coupé. via carbodydesign

HEICO Volvo S80 T6 HPC

Las Vegas reflect flawlessly in the gleaming aluminum paint of the Heico Sportiv S80 T6 High Performance Concept (HPC). "Heico Sportiv is honored to once again be working with Volvo Cars to build the exciting S80 T6 HPC for this year's SEMA show," said Holger Hedtke, President of Heico. The 2007 show marks the second year Heico Sportiv has partnered with Volvo Cars to create a SEMA concept. This year, Heico shows its mettle with the S80 T6 HPC and the C30 Surf Pattern (see separate release).

Volvo C70 T5 SE

The new C70 is a very different beast to its predecessor, which was sold as both a fixed-head coupe and soft-top cabrio.

This time, the C70 has a folding steel roof, giving buyers both cars - coupe and convertible - for the price of one. With the roof down on a sunny day, pretty well. It's the punchy 220bhp unit fitted to the awesome Focus ST. The body is suspended by MacPherson struts up front, multi-link suspension at the rear, which makes for a comfy ride around town. carmagazine

Volvo C30 BEV

The most impressive aspect of the C30 BEV is the switchover from power to coasting. The regenerative braking is imperceptible, with little of the vicious braking some electric cars deliver. It makes for a smooth driving experience. And one that's naturally, eerily calm and quiet.
Volvo claims the C30 BEV weighs just 100kg more than a 1.6 diesel DRIVe, so it handles just as well as a regular hatch. And ours is nose heavier than the eventual production ones, with their batteries centrally contained in the wheelbase for near neutral 56:44 front-rear weight distribution.
